Our fun, friendly, fast-paced team supports our swim teachers with the right tools and training crucial to their growth and success.
We provide (free of charge) an exceptional teacher-training program (20-30 hours) whereby trainees are paired with one of our most experienced, senior Swim Instructor Mentors. Mentors provide trainees with one-on-one instructing guidance, in both the Lifesaving Society’s Learn to Swim and the Swim Fins programs. Guidance includes feedback on how to teach more effectively, lesson plan, correct strokes, etc. All training is carried out in the water with actual classes, providing a real, authentic learning experience for our trainees. Trainees are paid their hourly wage for the 20-30 hours of training.
Over the past 25 years, our swim school has been recognized in the Lower Mainland as a leader in aquatic education. We are proud to say that our unique learn-to-swim program has taught thousands of children to learn to swim in 1/4 of the time.

🐬Guaranteed Shifts Available YEAR-ROund (HOURS vary by location):
1. Weekday (Mon-Fri) positions: 3:30pm-8:30pm
2. Weekend (Sat/Sun) positions: 9am-2pm
3. Weekend (Sat/Sun) positions: 2pm-6pm
4. Session schedules are by seasons: Jan-Apr (14 weeks), Apr-Jul (12 weeks), Jul-Aug (8 weeks), Aug-Dec (17 weeks)
5. Full-time, Part-time, and On Call positions available
🐳Qualifications:
1. Certifications:
- SI
- SFA
- NL (Pool Option only)
2. No teaching experience necessary (but is an asset), we provide training.
3. Positive personality, smarts, reliability, and good communication.

1. Competitive wage: $25-$30 to start.
2. We hire instructors as young as 15 years old.
3. We provide (free of charge) an exceptional in-water teacher-training program (20-30 hours) whereby you have your own classes and mentor. Trainees are paid their hourly wage for the 20-30 hours of training.
4. Pick your shifts based on your availability: You get as many or as little hours as you want per week. You get to keep the same, consistent shifts weekly anywhere from 8-17 weeks, depending on the session length.
5. Our interview process is quick and easy (mostly done online), with only one short 15 minute in-water practical so we can see your awesome personality.
6. We provide an opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a positive work environment that has meaning and purpose.
7. Small group lessons (max 5 students) taught in a quiet pool (free of distractions) whereby the water is warm (85°F) - no wetsuit needed.
8. Ready-made lesson plans are provided by our Head Coaches that have been tried and tested.
9. As we are constantly expanding, we are always looking for new talent.
