JUNIOR LIFEGUARDING PROGRAM

(FOR CHILDREN AGED 9 - 12 YEARS )

Our Junior Lifeguarding Program is a 5 level progressive series and is an excellent program to complete before entering the path to become a Lifeguard/Swim Instructors (Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, NL etc.) Our Junior Lifeguarding program follows the successful completion of Swim Fins School Aged Program. Swim Fins Junior Lifeguarding Program gets participants ready for future job opportunities, let alone water safety for life. We suggest completing all 5 levels, as the failure rate of Lifeguarding/Swim Instructor courses is very high.

In all of our 5 levels the Junior Lifeguarding Program focuses on the following components:

• Fitness Conditioning

• Swimming Strokes

• 1st Aid, Rescues & Water Safety Skills
