Wondering what age to start your children in swim lessons?

You’re not alone! Most parents find it confusing to know at what age they should enrol their kids in swimming lessons. If you’ve been asking this question lately, this is the answer from the swim professionals:

We recommend starting your kids in swim lessons as infants. This is because as kids cognitively develop, they also develop a fear of water. Learning to swim before they learn to be scared of water is a huge advantage that can result in faster progress in the development of their swim skills let alone they will become more natural swimmers.

At Swim Clo, we teach kids as young as 4 months old! You can choose to be in the pool with your tot or let one of our certified swim instructors take care of everything.

Along with the many health benefits that swimming provides, swimming is also a lifesaving skill that every individual should learn. Especially with family trips to the beach and pool, it’s important that every child have the skills to stay safe in and near the water and have fun while doing it! By preparing now, your family will be ready for those upcoming trips to the beach, pool, and lake!

Even if your kids never go near the water without your supervision, it is important that every child acquires basic water safety skills for their own safety and your own peace of mind as accidents do happen.
